Introducing Our New Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

We are excited to announce the launch of a new Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) at Alliance Wellness Center’s main location, led by Kelly Capelle, AS, ADCT. After serving as the primary counselor for our Women’s Residential Program, Kelly is transitioning to focus on this comprehensive IOP, offering a flexible and supportive recovery pathway for adults with Substance Use Disorder (SUD).

Program Details:
Our IOP will be held Monday through Thursday from 5-9 PM for group counseling sessions and is designed to run for approximately 16 weeks. The program also includes weekly individual counseling sessions, with a minimum of one hour per week. For added convenience, individual sessions can be conducted virtually.

Key Features:
12-Step Support
– Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
– Co-occurring Disorders Education
– Addiction Education
– Mindfulness Practices
– Trauma-Informed Care
– Guest Speakers

This program is open to all adults (18+) who meet the criteria for SUD. While Alliance Wellness Center is proud to offer culturally specific services for East African communities, this particular IOP group is co-ed and open to all populations.

The place is great. The staff is excellent. My counselor was Collette and she is great at helping you in your recovery. It is such A wonderful group setting and all the staff truly want you to succeed in life.
My experience here has been wonderful. The staff has gone out of their way to provide a welcoming, comfortable recovery environment. I would recommend anyone seeks help for chemical dependency seriously take a look at the program they offer.
My experience here was a great one. I have been to other treatment facilities, AA, and out patient help centers. This one was by far my best experience to date. The director of this program was nothing but helpful from the first time I reached out to him. The councilor was empathetic versus sympathetic and a great listener. This place felt like no other place I have ever been to before. The atmosphere was an intimate yet open place of peace. I felt comfortable right away. The fact that they do not make you introduce yourself as an addict was one of my favorite things about it. Instead of the usual "My name is ____, and I’m an alcoholic"… you introduce yourself and *the reason you are there*. I would recommend this program to anyone who is struggling with addiction and does not want to be shamed for it. Very informative group with intent of helping you.

Alliance Wellness and the people in this facility changed my life.
Alliance wellness center gave me an opportunity that is unique and rare, they understood my struggles, they went above and beyond to ensure my success in treatment and personal life, Yusuf has become a mentor and support and surrounded me with great professionals, koleen and Whitney whom I enjoyed their wisdom and I thank them all from the bottom of heart. I will always be grateful.
AWC is a great program it was a real good fit for my self and others that were in same group whom eventually became a group that felt like family. AWC really helps out in many ways, they give you the help you need not just with the Chemical Dependency part, but also helps you out and give you many outside resources to things such as Work, School, Etc. AWC really isn’t just about providing you with the necessary tools and information to help sustain and manage your life in the most positive way then congratulate you and then it’s done. No, AWC will stay in contact and make sure your still doing good and won’t ever forget about you and will always be there to help you out whenever.

Most comfortable and real program I’ve ever been in. Thank you Yusuf.
